It is with immense pride and gratitude that we announce SJD Homes has been awarded the 2025 HIA Australian Professional Major Builder of the Year.

Following our 2024 Victorian win, this national recognition is a powerful affirmation of who we are, what we stand for, and how we continue to redefine what it means to be a home builder in Australia.

We’re a proudly local builder, operating solely within the communities of South East Melbourne, Gippsland, and the Bass Coast. We don’t build nationwide, simply focusing on doing things exceptionally well in our own backyard. And yet, from this small corner of Victoria, we’ve taken out the highest honour in our industry: HIA Australian Professional Major Builder of the Year. To receive national recognition as a builder with local foundations is something truly special.
