SJD Team Up for Cancer Council’s Relay for Life

Last weekend saw the team at SJD taking part in the overnight Cancer Council’s ‘Relay for Life’  in Cardinia. It was fantastic to take part in such an incredible and inspiring community event. There were laughs, tears and tributes to loved ones passed or currently battling cancer, tired legs and weary bodies – especially those who walked through the night with very little sleep!

We are very proud to say that our team raised approximately $15,000 (we were the second highest fundraising team at the event of more than 40 teams!). We could not have done this without the wonderful support and very generous donations and fundraising efforts of our staff, trades, suppliers, family and friends – thank you so much!

The money raised will go towards support services, treatments and research so that hopefully one day we can find a cure for this horrible disease that affects so many of us and our loved ones.
